Can you tell me more about Field Hockey?
Check out this breakdown of Field Hockey 101.
The 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade games are half field, the 7th and 8th grade games are full field.
Those of you thinking it is like ice hockey -- it is totally different! There are some unique things about field hockey, one of them being that yes, there are only right-handed sticks. While it may take lefties a few weeks to adjust, we see youth athletes adjust and excel in the sport. In fact, they may have an advantage with strength of their left hand in control of the stick.
